Today was the day the Service Projects Group was created. The Lead Coordinator sent this message out to all those willing to participate.
Service Projects Group is meant for us to lend out our manpower when someone needs a helping hand. It's for anyone looking for manpower help on any kind of project that you may not necessarily want hired out & it's a chance for us to offer our manpower to someone in need. For instance, if a mother needs her grass cut or her kitchen caught up after she's had her baby, she could ask the service group for help. Or if you need 5+ strong men to lift something and you don't have those resources within your own household, you can ask for help in the Service Projects Group. The possibilities are endless!!
There is no project too big or small that we can't handle together!!
For the first ever official Service Project, volunteers helped one of our dear members load all their belongings into a moving truck and move them to a new home they had just purchased. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped. The homeowners were more than happy to have all their furniture moved over in just one day!
Thank you also to the Coordinators who helped everyone know the time and location for the move.
