As the first full month of the Service Projects Group, October had a staggering 11 service projects running throughout the month:
Volunteers helped a mother pick up some furniture she bought off KSL.
Volunteers met at the home of one of our members to help her move her chicken coup. It was sitting in the middle of her yard and she needed it moved to a specific corner.
Volunteers helped an elderly member in West Valley replace her roof.
Volunteers made a surprise visit to the home of a family with several small children, offering to help them with general yard clean-up and maintenance.
Another crew of volunteers helped a couple who were replacing their kitchen floor with new DIY Tiles.
After the two morning projects, another crew of volunteers visited the home of an elderly member to help her build a shed behind her house.
Garage shelves were built and assembled for a family of four. Thank You to everyone who participated!
Volunteers helped an elderly couple with trimming tree branches growing towards their home.
A huge crew of volunteers met at the home of another one of our elderly members to give them some help with yard work and maintenance.
They also provided the volunteers with a beautiful lunch!
A small crew of volunteers met at the home of another one of our members to help them move a large boulder to the corner of their yard.
A crew of volunteers surprised one of our members by offering to go to their home and help with fall yard work.
What a successful first month for the Service Projects Group. The volunteers were able to get so much done and provided services for so many people. A special thank you to all the volunteers and the coordinators for making these service projects possible. Keep up the Good Work!!
