March 9th; Home Repairs for a Family in Need

General home repairs such as: painting, minor construction, moving furniture and electrical yard work. Thank you to all the volunteers who were able to help this family complete their list of home projects.

March 23rd; Landscaping Project

Volunteers met this week to help one of our members complete a large gardening project.

Project included:

• Shoveling dirt around the house, sloping it away from the house
• Filling in a small area of the yard to make it level with the rest
• Weeding garden, installing black tarp to prevent weeds
• Install curbing around the garden

120 Volunteer hours completed.

March 30th; Tree Stump Removal

Spring cleaning for a small family with several yard projects on their hands.

Volunteers were able to help with:

• Removing tree stumps and tree debris
• Removing unwanted dirt
• Raking and cleaning the lawn
• Seeding the lawn where needed
• Laying wood chips
• Placing rocks on cement
• Tidying up garden boxes
