Service Group scheduled service projects for two weekends in February

February 2nd; Ceiling Removal

Volunteers met with one of our members to inspect the ceiling of their home for any mold or damaged areas. They also helped the homeowner with cutting out the old ceiling and preparing it for the installation of a new one.

February 6th; Shovel For Your Neighbor

Due to no projects being scheduled for the middle of February, the following call to action was sent out after the heavy snowfall.

Anyone who is available today to help out, let's especially make sure our parents, pregnant mothers, & seniors are taken care of through this winter storm. Anyone who isn't able to go far, we can always help out a neighbor, member or not. I'm sure the act of service would be very appreciated! Neighborly kindness goes a long way.

February 23rd; Home Repairs for Family of Five

At the close of February, volunteers were able to help one of our families with a few home repairs. They were able to help the homeowners with fixing ceiling damage, bathroom renovations and fence repairs.
